Beth Ouellette

Professional Experience

Beth combines business management and technology experience to help executive teams align programs with organizational strategy and implement portfolio, program, and project management practices. Her approach spans traditional, Agile, and hybrid methods.

She has partnered with senior executives across banking, finance, insurance, retail, utilities, telecommunications, manufacturing, small business, academia, U.S. government agencies, and the entertainment and luxury sectors.

Teaching & Research

Beth developed content and helped create the Project Management Certificate Program for the CUNY Graduate Program and School of Professional Studies. The multi-course program was approved by the New York State Department of Education in 2008.

Since 2009, her presentations have included PMI Leadership Institute Meetings, national congresses and chapter events in Poland, France, Sweden, Canada, Peru, and other locations. She has also presented at Project Zone conferences, the Program Management Forum, PMINJ Seminar@Sea, Delivering Project Excellence, the CIO Forum, the Enterprise Application Strategy Conference, IT World Congress, Women in Technology, and Women in Computing.

Her writing has been published in Brazil, Canada, India, and the United States.

Professional Service

A PMI Global volunteer since 2006, Beth received the PMI Fellow distinction in October 2018. She received the Component Leadership of the Year Award in 2010 for her work with the PMINYC chapter and the Distinguished Contributor Award in 2009 for her content integration work on PMI Standards Teams.

She has served on the DAMA New York City Board of Directors in various capacities since 1999.
